Come sit with me on my screened porch. We'll talk and enjoy the view.
We have a little shelter for the birds.
Funny, but this little owl never uses the bird house (not that a real owl would)!
We still have a few white blooms left on our giant butterfly bush, but don't strain your eyes trying to find them!
The nights are colder now and the pots are almost all empty. Our wood pile for the fall and winter is ready in the background.
Nature has another idea for our wood. It's a perfect home for white lichen. You'll have to come back later in the fall when you can warm up by the fireplace.

Lovely White Wednesday post!! I can't believe that fall is right around the corner.
Blessings~
Great post! Love the chippy owl & that plant stand is wonderful! I am so looking forward to fall but it arrives late here in Texas.
How beautiful... I love the birdhouse, and the white lichen... we have lichen in our gardens too...(I thought I was the only person in the world who loved it!) I love it, is soo reminds me of being in the woods... Bisous... Julie Marie
Oh what a lovely post, I could feel the chill in the air. And looking at that pile of wood I can feel the sore muscles in the man that cut it. But I can also see the fire and the cup chocolet and my newest quilt and my best book.
I lived in the mountains of Utah for 15 years. I miss home.
Thank you for visiting me.

Love all your white garden goodies. That 3-tiered plant stand is making me so "wanty" right now. Have a great time preparing for fall!

Hi Jenny! You had us hooked when you said the magical words: screened porch. We would love to have one, but builders don't get it here in So California!! Thank you for your lovely visit!!!
Hi Jenny,
Oh I would love a screened porch. How lucky you are. Everything is lovely and that wood pile reminds me that we had better get busy on ours.
I'm so sorry to hear that you have broke your foot. I hope you will be a good girl while it heals.
Thank you for coming by and for your sweet message.
Hugs,

Hi Jenny,
Thank you so much for your visit today and your thoughtful comments. It meant a lot to me.
Your pictures are wonderful and gives me a intimate look into your surroundings. Our butterfly bush is just getting done with it's flowers too. I love Fall so I don't mind the thought of bring in firewood for the cool nights ahead.
Have a great rest of the week,
Carole

Hi Jenny,
I would love to come sit, on your very inviting porch, but The shop won't let me... I'm slowly getting it set, but I'm real, real slow...
I had to set a display with the little Christmas treasures, I just couldn't take putting them away! I love the fruit covered one too, the gnarly ones are my favorite!
Have a wonderful day,
Barb C.

Wanted to let the family know that they are in my prayers...my heart goes out to you!
Just to let the family know that I am so sorry for your loss. We take it quite hard in the "blogging world" to lose one of our own. I pray that the Lord will be near and dear to you in the days ahead.
I think all of us will remember you Jenny each White Wednesday. Although many of us don't really know each other, we all share the same love for the old white vintage stuff. You and your family are in my thoughts. Sue
This is to honor Jenny, a friend I had just come to know. Dear family and friends, please know we will miss her kindred spirit in our lives.
